A lash lift is a procedure to give a natural curvature to your straight lashes, enhancing your look with a completely natural effect. ¿Do you know how to care for your eyelash lift to make it last longer? In this article, I will share all the tips for lash lift aftercare.
Lash lift aftercare during the first 24 hours:
Do not get your lashes wet to ensure that the treatment takes effect and lasts longer.
Avoid exposing your lashes to steam.
Do not apply mascara.
Avoid excessive sweating due to physical activity.
Do not rub or touch your eyes until the treatment has completely set.
Lash lift aftercare after the first 24 hours:
Avoid waterproof mascaras.
Use water-based makeup removers such as micellar water. When removing makeup, wipe upward following the curve of the lashes.
Do not sleep with makeup on, as this can affect your natural lashes and the duration of the procedure.
Do not use manual eyelash curlers as they can break your natural lashes.
Avoid sleeping on your eyes or wearing a sleep mask, as friction will affect your natural lashes.
In conclusion, after the first 24 hours of getting your eyelash lift, you can resume your normal activities. You can go to the gym, exercise, swim, visit saunas, and apply makeup, but make sure to use water-based makeup to extend the duration. Keep in mind that eyelash lift is a gentle procedure that does not harm your lashes. It lasts approximately one to two months, and the effect will end when your eyelashes have completed their natural growth cycle and grown back straight. At that point, you can have the procedure done again.
